Nominees: FCC takes Takedown off the Air, Kaitlyn Powerbombs AJ, Mankind Refuses to Accept the Interactive Anarchy Voting, Seth Rollins Retires, Edge's Live Sex Celebration

Sometimes, the unexpected happens, these moments are the prime example of some of the most controversial or otherwise well, as the name suggests shocking moments to happen in 2017.

One of the more personal feuds of the year was Sasha Banks vs. Raquel Diaz. Sasha made it abundantly clear the amount of respect she had for one of the Four Cornerstones. Absolute zero. Going as far to come out in the arena in her late father's lowrider and his old theme, Sasha did her best to cut deep when it came to anything matter of Raquel Diaz's life. On the April 25th edition of Takedown, a first in PCW history had happened. A promo between two roster members go so heated and unscripted that the Federal Communications Commission had to step in and put a stop to it, thus pulling Takedown off the air earlier than planned. Prior to the disconnect, Sasha Banks would upset Raquel Diaz by telling her: "You miss your daddy so much, Raquel? I'll make damn sure your punk ass sees him again real soon." That was the straw that broke the camel's back, which caused Raquel to attack in rage and call Sasha an undisclosed swear word. It's truly a moment that PCW - and the FCC - will remember for a long, long time.

Throughout the year, the motives of the longest reigning PCW Women’s World Champion, Kaitlyn had been a relative unknown. Nobody was exactly sure what she intended, or was willing to do for her and Paige Knight’s crusade. But, at Zero Hour she finally set battle lines. After AJ had defeated Paige in their grueling Last Woman Standing match, Paige was left a bloody heap in the middle of the ring. Kaitlyn, upon seeing this decided to take matters in her own hands, and did what nobody thought that she would do as she purposely attacked her fellow Chickbuster with a devastating Jackknife Powerbomb. At the end, as the dust settled, Kaitlyn silently walked alongside the near lifeless friends as they were stretchered out.

Interactive Anarchy is the longest running tradition in Primetime Championship Wrestling. Once a year, the fates of the PCW Roster is in the hands of the fans, and every year it is considered one of the best events of the year. However, this year, the PCW Universe was shocked as Mick Foley, under his Mankind alter ego refused to honor the results of the fan’s vote, which would have seen him under the guise of Dude Love against Kenny Omega. Since then, Mankind has been one of the biggest threats to the PCW locker room. But we all remember that it was because of this, that he was set towards the path of Darkness.

After holding the PCW Rising Championship for the second-longest reign in PCW's glorious history, many expected that Seth Rollins would go on to try to come by the PCW World Heavyweight Championship more honestly than he had* in 2016. Instead, however, he announced that after seven years with the company, he would be retiring and leaving the company to spend time with friends and family and settle down. However, his first ally in the company and the inaugural Queen of the Ring Brooke Adams would return to PCW for the first time since she left a day after winning the PCW Women's Championship, demanding Seth has at least one more match to go out on top. Despite Seth and Brooke falling narrowly to the Hurricane and Becky Lynch, Seth's retirement remains as one of the biggest surprises of the year. Have we seen the last of the Natural Born Killer?

Call it confidence, call it ego, call it perversion, whatever you want to call it you cannot deny that The Rated R Superstar shocked the world when he decided to celebrate his championship win over Finn Balor weeks early with the very thing that earned him his now infamous moniker… a Live Sex Celebration alongside his main squeeze JoJo. However, as the future champ prepared to… start the festivities, he was interrupted by the then PCW World Heavyweight Champion. Despite some jeers and displeasure from not only Edge and JoJo, but the fans Finn took it upon himself to end Edge’s fun and get some much needed revenge on his greatest rival. This moment of crossing the boundaries of what is allowed and what is not, will forever be remembered in the anals of PCW history.
