    introductory roleplay:

Hot off a commercial break, and the audience here tonight is thrown right into a frenzy as the well-known sound of "The Rising Sun" by CFO$ begins to blare across the public address system, heralding the arrival of a man nobody could have possibly expected to show up here tonight - it's Shinsuke Nakamura! Moving in synch with his theme, Shinsuke soon begins his descent toward the ring, his leisure pace at odds with his otherwise frantic movements and gestures. As he reaches the ring, Shinsuke enters without hesitation, and while some await his signature pose at the ropes, it never comes. Instead, Shinsuke makes toward the ropes overlooking the announce table, and gratefully accepts a microphone before taking to the center of the ring. Waiting several moments for the fans to die down and his theme to fade out, Shinsuke soon speaks for the first time on PCW programming!

P... C... W.” These three simple letters set the crowd ablaze once more, and Shinsuke can't help but to grin in the middle of the ring. Nodding his head, he slowly drags his tongue across his lips before continuing. “My name is Shinsuke... Nakamura. And for fourteen years, I was the best wrestler in New Japan. But now, I have come to America... I have come, to Primetime...” Nakamura trails off, his head tilting slightly to the side as he runs his free hand through his hair. Smirking, he continues. “...To be the best wrestler here.” Shinsuke says, nodding again as the fans pick up once more. “Because even in Japan, I heard about PCW. I heard that, if you want to prove yourself in America... Then you need to go to Primetime. So, PCW... here... I... am.” Again the crowd explodes, and Shinsuke continues to smirk as he nods his head, taking in the fans' reactions. “The King of Strong Style is here, and I only want one thing.” Shinsuke pauses, holding up the index finger for a moment before he continues, turning toward the entrance ramp as he does. “Com... pe... ti... tion.” Deliberately dragging out the pronunciation, Shinsuke grins afterward, wetting his lips before continuing. “Oh, but who is going to give me competition? Maybe... A. J. Styles?” The fans erupt into cheers at the thought of AJ and Shinsuke colliding. Meanwhile Nakamura smirks, shrugging his shoulders as he continues. “Or, maybe... Chris Jericho?” Again the fans cheer, not for the mention of the dastardly Chris Jericho alone, but for the thought of Jericho and Nakamura squaring off for the first time inside a PCW ring. “How about... Prince Devitt?” Cheers. “Samoa Joe?” Cheers again! A pensive look upon his face, Shinsuke taps the microphone gently against his chin, trying to think of another name to mention. After a moment, the light bulb can almost be seen popping up above Shinsuke's head as his face brightens up, and he nods his head before speaking. “Or maybe, if I really want competition, I need to face a true Phenom. Maybe, a Deadman could give me the challenge I want.” Shinsuke teases, and the fans cheer even louder this time, picking up exactly what Nakamura's putting down. Glancing around at the crowd, Shinsuke nods, but ultimately shrugs before continuing. “Or... maybe not. Maybe, none of them are the competition I'm looking for. Maybe none of them are ready for the King of Strong Style. Maybe... no one is.” Shinsuke states, smirking smugly before he continues. “That... is what I am here to find out. Shinsuke Nakamura is here to see if the rumors are true, and to see if anybody here can do what nobody else has been able to... Give... me... a... challenge!” Shinsuke practically begs the PCW locker room at this point; he's come here in search of a challenge, in search of competition, and he can't wait much longer. Running his hand through his hair again, he takes a breath before continuing. “And, if you do not... Then you will meet the same fate as everyone else who has tried, and failed...” Smirking, Shinsuke pauses, looking up to the rafter for a moment before finishing his thought. “Knee...” Shinsuke slaps his left knee with his free left hand... “To...” He slaps his knee again, this time pausing a bit longer as he looks out at the PCW Universe with a grin... “FACE!

Shinsuke yells, a crazy glint in his wild eyes that's only made more unsettling by his broad grin. Once more, "The Rising Sun" begins to play, and Shinsuke takes this opportunity now to let loose; playing to the crowd with his usual erratic movements before eventually ending up at the ropes. Here, he gives everyone what they'd been hoping for earlier as he grabs the top rope, and proceeds to perform his signature pose, letting himself slink down to the mat. It's around this point that the scene cuts out, taking us to another segment.

  3. Exclusive: The Undisputed Era

    02 March 2018 - 04:45 PM

This was meant for this week's show, but I dropped the ball on getting it in D: So here it is as an exclusive!

Click. And just like that, we are live once again from the Quicken Loans Arena, where the PCW universe has just witnessed a chaotic brawl between newcomers Dean Ambrose and Jay White. As the scene opens up, however, we're taken not back to ringside but instead to a backstage corridor of the arena, where we're instantly greeted by the four members of The Undisputed Era - Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and the latest addition to the group, Rebel! A smug smirk upon his face, Adam appears to be hyping his colleagues up.

    Posted Image
This is it, boys. Rebel and myself, we've already done our part. Just last week, I beat Cody Rhodes, and I earned myself a World Heavyweight Championship match. Which means it's only a matter of time before I'm standing here with pro wrestling's most prestigious championship around my waist. And Rebel? She's going to Resurrection, where she's going to beat both Christina Von Eerie and Paige, and then she's going to go on to claim the PCW Women's Championship. But tonight? Tonight, the two of you have YOUR chance to make a mark, and show the world that The Undisputed Era? We're just as strong as our weakest link - and we don't have one.

Adam says, to support and approval from his colleagues. Smirking, Bobby Fish takes it upon himself to speak next.

    Posted Image
Which is far more than I can say for our opponents tonight. Because when it comes to JeriShow, they're nothing but weak links, and they're going to figure that out for themselves when they try to go against the Best Team on God's Green, and only end up broken and beaten for their efforts.

The group nods again, and this time it's Kyle O'Reilly who decides to speak up, building off his partner's point in a way.

    Posted Image
And while those two geezers pack up their bags and head on back to the old folks home, Bobby and I are going to go on to do the same damn thing to the next team. And the next. And the next. And I'd say we're not going to stop until we get those Tag Team Championships around our waists, but let's be honest - we're not going to stop even then.

    Posted Image
Now that's what I like to hear.” Adam says, nodding his head. After a moment, he turns toward Rebel, speaking again. “How about you, Rebel? Anything to add?

Rebel stood with her hands on her hips as she listened to her team of boys chat amongst themselves. She didn't have a match tonight but she would be sitting and watching the women's division closely.

"Me add anything...Bobby and Kyle have nothing to worry about, but I will add that JeriShow do have the experience edge in this match. But don't worry boys just because they have experience doesn't mean they are invisible. In fact being the strategist that I am I've noticed a few flaws they have. Trust me boys you got this match won already. Then after our win tonight I go on to Resurection and become the PCW Women's Champion.

Nodding his head along, Adam pipes up once more after Rebel finishes speaking.

    Posted Image
Exactly. So, you two - go out there and do some damage. Go out there and show them what the two of us already have. Let them know that The Undisputed Era has arrived.

Bobby and Kyle nod, clearly getting fired up, and it's here that we fade out.

Burn out is a bitch. But at least that means things are picking up in other areas of life.
You are one of the all-time greats. I've always been insanely jealous of those who can move from character to character seamlessly. I regret not working with you closely for an arc or two, maybe when the time is right we can give it a go.
